Armed with a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Oregon State University, Cortney is a keen observer of the human condition. She brings varied experiences to the table—a one-year stint in Americorps working with the Youth Volunteer Corps of America, international travel, solo adventures, and motherhood (twice over). She balances technical skill with outright charm for fun-as-heck shoots and stunning results. She’s a deft markswoman, with the eye of an artist and the critical mind of a crafter and maker. A junkie of outdoor exploration, hidden trails, and pomegranate chocolate, Cortney is the puppet master of hearts, with a satchel full of sass to go along with (if one is willing to play).
