Updates!

Tuesday April 1, 2014

Hello friends and family. I have been super excited to update you all on what’s been going on with Cortney Kerr Photography. I was lucky to have such a busy fall and winter season, but with all the great opportunities for work I fell short on time to update you! So along with this post be prepared to see some more posts on what I have been up to.

Location: One major update is our new location. People are always confused when it comes to my location and why it also says “Spoke” on the front door of the studio, so let me attempt to explain that first. A few years back, my husband Brian and I decided to start our own branding studio here in Portland … and so in August 2011 Spoke was born. Since I was already doing photography for projects of his we decided to make Cortney Kerr Photography a DBA of Spoke. It has been a lot of hard work and there have been many sleepless nights, but we have really enjoyed having our own gig. Spoke is composed of three amazing designers, one super talented project manager, one photographer, and most importantly, our office mascot Murphy. In September we moved from our location on SE Taylor to a shiny new location on SE Division. The studio has been great and with the extra space I now have the ability to do studio photo shoots on rainy days. We feel incredibly spoiled here with all the great businesses around us and especially since Bollywood Theater moved in downstairs! Feel free to come by sometime and say hello! You can also see more about us here…SPOKE

Pricing: I have updated my pricing and changed all my packaging (image below). Instead of handing off files on CD I now give all my clients their files on a wooden USB drive. It has been a blast playing with different ideas and coming up with new ways to package the USB. My pricing now starts at $400 and all sessions require a non-refundable deposit of half your session fee in order to have the date set in stone. You can find all the details here … CKP PRICING

These are all the updates for now. I hope this post finds all of you well and hopefully I will see many of you soon for some spring photo shoots!
