In December I had the opportunity to work with Capstone Partners and photograph the Cannery Row Apartments. The day of the shoot was incredibly cold so entering the building and being welcomed by a warm cozy fire felt amazing. The apartments sit on the former site of The Graves Cannery. The cannery was built in 1918 and provided canning resources for famers in Sherwood and surrounding areas. Graves Cannery closed its doors in 1972 due to the decrease in demand for canned foods. I love that the history of this site has been honored by incorporating materials and designs that visually pay tribute to the former cannery. If you are ever in the area in need of a place to call home, be sure to check them out.
